hi,

i got a flashed ambit 250.

can get into 250configurator tool no probs and write new mac etc.
slight problem with the usb mac is what do i change the last digit to if its a letter? just the next letter in the alphabet?

i write my new mac and all i get is the acivation page. it locks upstream and downstream.

do i put my tftp? in or the one it came from? i assumed its mine and have put what i think is my tftp.

what config should i use?

With your USB MAC i can help, if the last octet (the last 2 digits of your MAC) dosnt end in ff (you cannot go higher then ff) its more like 0f (or af) you can go as you would between 9 and 10 eg. 10 (or b0) numbers are always before letters.

usb mac is not importent if you connect via cable if you getting Vpage then you need to change mac address keep trying diffrent mac untill u get a working 1

i know this is a working one, its a 20mb aswell

if you think mac is working then try changing modem serials i always get that problem i change macs untill i get it working
