Default backup existing image?

Hi,
does anyone know how i can backup an existing image on a dbox2, its working fine keys set to au i really dont wana loose whats on this box...

Depends on image........the wording may vary but it should be something like this.

using remote control

dbox
service
image upgrade / backup
expert functions
backup ( read ) one partition
flash without bootloader

image will be saved to the dbox /tmp folder as mtd3.img ( do not reboot your box at this stage or this will clear the contents of the /tmp folder !!!!! )

FTP into your box and save it to your PC.....rename it to the name of the image and date it.

cheer for that mate,
the one question i forgot to ask was how to i restore the image, assume id ftp it back to the /tmp folder but duno how to get the dbox to load it....

To flash it back on or to another box. FTP the image to the /tmp folder of the box, then,

using remote control

dbox
service
image upgrade / backup
expert functions
flash ( write ) one partition
flash without bootloader
select image
press red to confirm

will take about three minutes to flash.........all done
