will i need to use the rs232 / serial cable if want to read my rom 10/11 thru the phoenix??

also if I just want to update the ntl card is it easy to do this, or better just to get a funcard and start from scratch? which is better.

tempted on getting the funprogrammer usb as its extra cheap and i can do a funcard from scratch if its not much more effort than just updating my rom 10/11.

you only need serial cable and usb cable

ive got that one. i decided on that one because i couldn't be bothered with the virtual com port stuff.

it programs funs and atmegas on usb only but to do rom's it needs the serial.
