Default Pace 4001

Hello all yet again im after some advice, me mate has asked me to 'have a look' at his box for him and when you plug it in the led display just reads pace and stays there, i have tried the red jumper and booting holding down as you do for the 4001 and even done the power button trick but none work just comes on says pace and stays there, i even reseated the ribbons for the display as i read somewhere once that this can cause the problem but even that dont seem to work, this box was working fins up until 2 days ago and it just started doing it, all resistors etc seem to be intact although im no sparky, any ideas?

dont know if this helps m8 but when they stuck in tune sometimes leaving it with no card in on stream for 20 minutes or so sets them going again

so its a 'stuck in pace box' ,
What about removing the Simm(The part where led-Simm goes) & giving the contacts a little clean.
Or you could try a Cim(Where cable feed connects) from a working 4001(If you have one that is) to see if that works

hope you get it sorted bud,i know how difficult thes boxes can be

gl

I changed the simm for another that i know works and still same problem, not sure what a cim is but id like to try that so if you could shed a lil light on it that would be great, what annoys me the most is that this box was working and then it just stopped
