Vermin to release new wireless Internet up to 1.2 gigabytes per second

Hi all i was watching a tv program and saw that virgin will soon be providing a new type of Internet that will deliver supperfast Internet access to parts of Scotland and remote Ireland's
Its currently being tested in Scotland
and should be out within 2010
Its based on satellite.
Its also has tv chanels on the feed and uses tv transmiter sites.
to deliver a lower end product to areas who cant get satellite.
Has any one heard of this and if will be made available to us all?
