Hello again,
well i think i managed to make my bad situation even worse, i had a not very good dbox, which i took over to my parents so i could copy their image onto mine(theirs is 1x), now i was playing about with a 3rd dbox (1x) which worked fine aswell as my parents, and flashed it with a 2x bleeding image...

if anyones wondering how it happened, well since my dbox was a 2x and both my parents are 1x i used a convertor, and accidently flashed a 1x with the converted 2x image, it went into kein mode and mine was still not working with that converted image.... so now i have 2 not working boxes...

anyway i downloaded IFA 3.10 and 1.5.0.6, tried flashing the not working 1x with a only a X-over cable in both IFA versions, and it keeps freezing /repeadly tries to copy over "logo-fb" in the tftp folder located in IFA folder.... according to the output window that is.

I used to do it with a x-over and a null modem cable, but the latter is now lost, am i doing something wrong guys or should i be off to my local Ma*lins since Several posts claim that an X-over alone works just fine (obviously not for me)...

any help appreciated guys...

oops thats one thing ive never done is got images mixed up pal have you tried going in by ftp and removing the files which were coyied across with the wrong flash?

i really an just guesing as ive never made that mistake man you musta been smoking some good weed lol

You cannot FTP into a box showing kein system !!!

Read post 5 here ( and the other link within the post ) and follow the instructions carefully.........also IFA V2.2 is attached.
