You dont do factory reset.Power scan on 8667 or whatever it is for your area then the box will search and store channels.I have this box and I found it to be the easiest yet.Hope this helps.Sorry go to menu install then follow instructions for deep scan

I have the same problem. when the firmware is downloaded the box to go on and off automatically. Should this be happening?

Only getting FTA channels and others are scrambled. I have followed the instaruction above but no joy. Can any one help.

You have to go to a subscription channel after you have scanned so the box can update its codes,it usually takes a couple of minutes,sky sports 1 seems to be the quickest according to the forum.

1) Ur getting all channels because when it scans the frequencies it will just tells you everything thats out there!

2) Download the fix from another toolbar... or from the download section on the forum..!

3) Once done leave it on Skysports 1 for 10mins...

4) Dont use a CDF - Do a powerscan to see what happens...!

If you have flashed it with V1.0Darx 29/08/2008 then in system it comes up as you describe you must get all channels after power scan.I find that they will usually update quicker on a movie channel but it should make no difference so long as its a premium channel.Good Luck I will watch your post

Perhaps you could be a bit clearer - if you are getting all the channels then what exactly is the problem?

Perhaps the person you bought the box from already flashed the firmware for you.
