Default cannot display the webpage

whenever im on the internet ,whatever site im on, somewhere on the page is the message" internet explorer cannot display the page" its right above the message box as i type this. any ideas how to get rid of it

I know it isn't much help but I entered 'Internet explorer cannot display the web page' into google, it appears from the response this is quite a widespread problem but there are lots of solutions to try.

Yep use another browser

There are much better alternatives to Microshafts software

Try the three below. I use Firefox & Safari myself

Firefox - _http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/

Safari - _http://www.apple.com/safari/

Opera -_http://www.opera.com/

All three of the above browsers are IMHO better and more reliable than the crap that comes from he Microshaft house
Another browser worth looking at is :-

K-Meleon - _http://kmeleon.sourceforge.net/

check firewalls as well
