Default button inside sammy 2110

i noticed tonight while messing with a 2110 when i press the button on the board the ethernet port is lighting red as if it is activating the port

but it will only stay lit while the button on the board is held

maybe this is how we can talk to the box throught the ethernet port as holding this button may open th port up to use to have a look any 1 any ideas on which software could communicate with an ethernet port on a set top box?

I know a hit puts the bk on the card but does vm actually send the bk down the feed or a signal to the box to put the bk on the card if its a signal has eneyone thought of trying to copy this signal to create a hit

Im just thinking out loud lol

the button resets the stb when using the 2110 hack tool to debug it as the debug tool fails quite a few times
