Initial setup HELP pls!!!

Hi All,

Just got my dreambox 500c and having a few @ahem@ teething problems!!

Um I have tried doing a auto scan and recieve nothing on the 2 available transponders in the drop down list:
All (SR6875)
ALL (SR6900)

I have also tried doing a manual scan on 6887 whivh i believe is the n*l requency but again nothing

Am i missing something glaringly obvious here?

Any help would be much appreciated!!!

sure u set the right frequency and netid for ur area?

thanks for the reply.... how do i even check or set that up mate?

Apologies for my ignorance....only ever had starview before and never needed to do anything to that...

Guy in shop told me i just need to plug this 500c in and it would work :s

Any help or even a link to a set up guide would be v appreciated!!

Only guides i seem to be able to find relate to flashing not initial setup/

Darlington - it used to be classed as teeside i think on myh old starview.

and N*L is provider

try manual scan

net id = 00010

frequency = 571000

sym rate = 6887

Cheers..i can see frequency and symbol fields but no net id one?

i flashed a neutrino on mine so i'm trying to remember from memory.....think i had to manual scan putting in each of the frequencies....got a file from ur starview showing all ur local frequencies...

try scanning with the frequency and sym rate i gave u and see if u pick up any channels....
