FSFS card stopped working in Diablo cam

Hi

My system is working very well thanks to the advice on here.

My freesat card used to work with my diablo cam no problem giving me channel 4 etc and ch 5 when I was on underworld 134.

I think it happened when I changed to 135 that the card stopped working but can't be 100% sure, however still not working on 136 which I believe was to better the NDS decryption.

I have two FSFS cards and neither work, both are updated from the sky boxes they are normally in and are the right way up.

Tried altering the caids settings and card/emu priority etc to no avail.

Any ideas?

Try going back to underworld 134.
But first you need to copy the data bin file from Underworld 136 to update Underworld 134.
Insert your Diablo Cam in the Cas programmer, and start up the Diablo software.
Click on the Cam File System tab and connect.
In the right hand pane you will see the data bin file, highlight this and click the green arrow pointing left, this will copy the file to your computer desktop.
Now format the cam by selecting the Cam Disk Functions tab and clicking Format.
Once complete click on the Upgrade Cam tab and load underworld134.dup.
Now click back on the Cam File System tab and connect.
Locate the data bin file in the bottom left pan, highlight it and click the green arrow pointing right, select yes to overwrite the old file.
Now you can exit and try your cards in the cam.

Thanks very much for the advice.

I followed it no problem and managed to get it set up.

Unfortunately it didnt have the desired effect. Everything else is still working fine though.

I can only assume I must have changed a setting somewhere along the line.

Could anyone who is using a fsfs card in the diablo successfully let me know what their caid and other settings are so I can compare.

The cards should work without altering the Configuration Settings, as everything seems to be set for cards by default.
Try formatting your cam, load underworld 134 and then try your cards in the Diablo before altering any settings or updating the data, or key, bin file.
What does your Cam state about your cards in the menu?
I know you say that you have the cards the right way up, which in the case of the Diablo, and other Cams is chip facing upwards, so check that there is nothing in the cam blocking the contacts, hold it up to a light and look through it.
Check the Smartcard Info option in the Cams menu for both cards, if that fails to show any information in your receiver try them in your Cas 3.
Insert the Cam and Card into your Cas 3, start up the Cas Studio software, click on the Utilities tab and Common Interface Host, then go into the Cams menu and Smartcard Info.

cam slot is clear and when I access smarcard info on the receiver a load of hexadecimal stuff comes up, presumably meaning that it is recognising there is a card in there.

I'll try formatting later but at the moment the kids are watching bee movie on premier direkt, which is great.

Formatted the cam and re-loaded 134 without updating bin files.

Still not working

Smartcard info is as follows.

No need to display your cards ATR as obviously the Cam is reading it.
Try deleting the channels from you receiver and re-scanning them in, they might have changed their PIDS.

Yes, that worked for channel 4 and 4+1.

Just need to check five now.

It's not against the rules to post your ATR, it's just that they are Hex figures, Hexadecimal is a combination of letters A-E and/or numbers 0-9, which some companies use search bots to scan for, so that they can check for sites posting keys, which are also hexadecimal.
Seeing as it looks like being a problem with your receiver you can try the new Underworld 136 again if you wish.

Have you tried putting both cards back in the Sky digibox,for at least 72 hours at all?
Another FM,has experienced the same issue with the Dreambox.
So it could possibly be an issue with the cards,not the CAMS.
