Default Virgin Media are aware you are using an illegal box

Hi Guys
Anyone else experienced this.
I recently done a red button autosort.
Everything was fine but as usual got some station added on to the bottom of the list like TVCh1 or TVCh4 Etc.

On the very last one on my new list which was TVCh4 there was a message saying Virgin Media are aware you are using an illegal box.
When I switched back get another station the numbers apearing on the screen were not the ones I was pressing on the remote.
And the sound had vanished.

I unplugged my Eurovox from the mains for 1 minute and it all came back as normal. But I am sure because I clicked on the above message from V.M that it caused the above problem.
Has this Virgin Media message been coming up for long or is it very recent any info anyone? Regards radge21

LOL+PMSL!! Good old Rickie branson must think its the 1st of April all over again..I aint heard of or even seen the message claiming to catch us "bandits"..For anyones info who wants to know about what virgins "message" is its pretty obvious to me but plz correct me if im wrong anyone as im only guessing::

As the eurov*x and other "technical viewing accessories" we are all familiar with are more than capable of scanning for channels on frequencies well outside the ones currently used on the DOCSIS system (for cable television viewing), virg*n have just stuck their little scary channel on for fun, just so all our little gadgets can pick it up when they powerscan, and as their subbed boxes are on a fixed frequency+symbol rate with valid MAC addresses this "message" would never show up on one of them. Virg*n can only mess around with any equipment attached to their DOCSIS network that has a MAC address (like their viewing boxes and Broadband cable modems), and this MAC address has to be already on their database before they would even suspect any foul-play, which is why our little (MAC-less!) viewing accessories are NEVER gonna be caught!!
Good on em for givin us all a good belly-achin larf!!!
