Hi all. firstly let me apologise for my lack of knowledge, as I am a complete Noob.
Ive read all 38 pages of the thread (how to find the box key) plus a million other threads. Ive finally given in and decided to ask for help. I have a pace4000 box with original card. Ive done all the searches using the ird number but i still cant find my box number? The engineers menu suggests that the card is "never paired", but i know its the original card. So the question is: What is my boxcode? I have the Infinity unlimited usb programmer, and all sorts of software. I beleive my card is Rom 11. Can anybody point me in the right direction of finding my code? Such as how to use the infinty to read the cards details? Many thanks, and keep up the great work on this site. It's by far the best forum ive ever found. Cheers all. |

If the box states the card is never paired then it has taken the hit from the cable co to alter the details on the card.
Now the only way to get the box key is to jtag the box. I'm sure you know what that is if you have read about everything before posting, as stated above. Try reading the card with Nagra 4.1 or xncs in your programmer and see if that gets anything. But dont keep your hopes up. |

first thing you need to do is put your programmer in pheonix mode
click on tools then virtual com port put your card in then open nagra edit and click on the envelope with the blue arrow (read from card) then if the cards unlocked you click on data editor and your bk+ird SHOULD be revealed |

You're better of purchasing a jtag as its a cheaper option and its guaranteed to get your boxkey. |

yes u do and whenreading in negraedit make sure u chose the right com port, ie: if ur com poryt in the programmer is com port1 then negraedit should be com port1 too.
