Hi
I know most of you are intrested in where the football is,but I am a rugby and cricket bloke.Anybody any tips for watching matches.Already watch some rugby on a freeview channel friday night or via satellite on one of the welsh channels at the weekend,but that is if a welsh team is involved.Cricket seems to be a no hoper.

Lo rainforrest.
I reckon cricket is a lost cause on euro satelittes.Football is everywhere but no cricket.
Shame we cannot get carabean? sats, A lot of cricket on them I bet.

Cricket is pretty much a non starter. It is a very high value broadcast and if there are feeds they are encrypted. No one else bar the UK is interested in cricket so no european channels cover it.

There is a limited amount of rugby available on Sat. If you have a motorised dish and a technomate one of the romanian channels on Thor covers some HC games. Some are available on france 2 that can be viewed FTA on 5w. There are feeds available for tri nations and currie cup but you would need more equipment.

Cricket sometimes turns up on one of the fta Zee channels (Zee Music possibly).

Ten Sports Middle East is fta on 9E at the moment and carries a lot of cricket too

I think one of the Romanian Sports channels occasionally show rugby, part of Digi TV, although not FTA it is widely available, for the moment, on patched receivers and some Cams.

2 channels to watch out for during the coming few days are ary digital and tensports if your intrested in cricket.

ary digital is schedueld to show india v australia series while on ten sports the ICL 20/20 will be shown live.

both channels are currently running FTA on 9E

ZEE Network UK has announced it will be telecasting Season 2 of the Indian Cricket League on ZEE Music, starting this Friday (10th October).

The cricket tournament backed by Indian media mogul Subhash Chandra of ZEE (Essel) fame will be shown over the next two months. The first part totals to 41 matches being played at four stadiums - Hyderabad, Panchkula, Gurgaon and Ahmedabad. The second part will consist of the World Series starting Friday 21st November.
