I have this thing called "TX LAN/USB Multi-Modular Cable Tester".
It has a few different kinds of connections(Usb,Ethernet ect) on it,i assume its for testing these cables of course.

My question is can this device be used to test a cable feed with the correct adapters ect?

if it does freq and db then yes with correct adapters
