Default Signal Strength with Splitters

Hey all,

I was just curious on signal strength/quality when using splitters.

I would ideally like to have my VM STB, Eurovox STB and SB4200 modem plugged in.

I have already ordered a 2 way splitter (before I have this a bit of thinking, oops lol).

Would a 3 way splitter give me any better signal than using 2 2 way splitters?

Thanks
Tom

Thanks again Vermin_Killa lol i forgot to mention on this 1 that I wanted a cable going to my bedroom (around 10 metres away through the ceiling and across the floor). Would I need a booster do you think?

Thanks

Providing your signal strength around 85% from the start then you should'nt need a booster, ive got a 3 way splitter from living room box then branching off to 2 bedrooms and again a 2 way splitter in one of the bedrooms into another room and the signal strength is perfect
