Hello to all, as the title sugests I am new to all the fta sat sceen. I brought a technomat tm3100d off ebay the other day tried to set it up today through my sky digital dish thinking I would get the free sky channels but only got 5 working channels and loads of mtv scrambled channels I dont have a clue where to start but eventualy when ive got the cash I want the 3pm epl kickoffs but for now the fta sky will do any help would be appreciated. Thanks for your time and putting me at ease with the newbe section it gave me the b**ls to ask.

You won't get any Sky channels for free!

Hi, IPSSOF, welcome to Techwatch.

On the satellites that Sky use (28E) there are a couple of hundred FTA channels that you will get with your receiver. Heres a list:-

FlySat United Kingdom TV Channels

all the channels that are either on 28.2 or 28.5E excluding HD ones.

If you are not getting them all, you may have to update your transponder list and rescan. Check here for an up to date transponder list. FlySat Eurobird 1 - Astra 2A/2B/2D @ 28.5/28.2° East
