VGA supports higher resolutuions than HDTV but what connections are you considering?
If it is the normal vga 15 pin socket then yes. I use a dvi to vga adaptor from my PC graphics card to my oldish LCD monitor. As your post is in the Dreambox section, I assume you are considering the DMM 800 and the type of video output may need to be changed.

Thats correct, its DMM 800 that I want to connect to my large LCD monitor, which just has 15 pin VGA input. From your post I understand that the type of output will have to be changed. But how? |

Unfortunately, I dont have a 800, still saving hard, but the manual section 3.1 may help you.
