Hey I am new to all this and am going to buy a satellite package on ebay which has the complete setup,
Could anyone tel me which one of these 2 is the best package in your opinion, I have noticed this one has more channels in the description, satellite receiver patched digibox sat box, motorised on eBay, also Digital Receivers, Satellite Boxes Receivers, Satellite Cable Freeview, Consumer Electronics (end time 12-Oct-08 21:07:17 BST) And this one which has less channels, satellite receiver patched digibox sat motorised kit + on eBay, also Digital Receivers, Satellite Boxes Receivers, Satellite Cable Freeview, Consumer Electronics (end time 12-Oct-08 21:25:26 BST) So any help on which one is better value and which has the better reciever I would appreciate that, Thanks |

You have not chossen one of mine on ebay? you are best off with a technomate as these are easy to patch and also have more support such as this one:
Technomate 5300 + Super USB 80 CM MOTORISED Dish System on eBay, also Digital Receivers, Satellite Boxes Receivers, Satellite Cable Freeview, Consumer Electronics (end time 25-Oct-08 10:45:46 BST) Plus you get an additional 5% off as you are a Techwatch member!

Definatley have to agree with southern satellite. Technomate receivers beat the others hands down. I have also read that support for the echolink in the picture receiver is being with-drawn.

Hey mate, thanks for the link. I've been browsing through the Sat threads to find a system to suit me but i'm still a little confused. I'm interested in getting as much prem football as possible, 3pm etc.. Will this package suit my needs?? If so i'll take it. thanks, Pat. patstrades@hotmail.com |

The only way as said on email to get as much premiership footy is to get a subscription card these cost upwards of £1000! another way is to get the Thomson PVR box I am selling as this comes with Setanta 1 for free until the end of this footy season and costs under £100 but you will need to be in a Freeview area.

Or take a gamble with the gamma card for showtime. The card has been working for a good while. but you need a big dish depending on your location.

well depends as you will receive lots of channels if the dish is large and to access channels the right software is needed on receiver or using cams like diablo
