Default Remote not working

Hi, i have a eurovox max v, today the remote has stoppped working, sometime i can get it to work but rarely, i have 2 remotes, both doing the same (new batteries tried as well).

Also i noticed the lock light is lit on the front display of the eurovox - i am not sure if that was lit before this problem.

I have done a reset to factory default and a powerscan - now have lots of bics channels. but the remote is still not going, anyone have any ideas , this is my first real problem with a eurovox.

Try the old test to see if your remote is working, if you have a mobile phone that takes pictures, turn it on and the look at the remote through the viewer, press your remote and if you see a white light then the remote should be ok, if it does'nt light up then the remote is not working

hi, thanks for the reply, i have done the test and both remotes work correctly.
Now here's the weird thing, i have a cable from my eurovox to my tv upstairs, and use a pyramid rf transmitter to change channels. Both the remotes work upstairs fine !!!. Can someone please help as it is driving me and the wife crazy. I have had eurovox for about 5 months with no problems.

Surely the sensor on the front of the eurovox works as the transmitter works off it - both remotes work upstairs as well - very weird problem.

sounds as if the pyramid transmitter is causing a conflict now for whatever reason, try disconnecting to see if the remotes are working at the box without it.

All sorted, unplugged the powermid pyramid rf transmitter and the remote control worked fine, plugged the powermid rf transmitter back in and it still works fine.

Thanks for your suggestion - really strange why that interfered with it.

But all back up and running
