Default Humax Foxsat and Multiple Satellites

Hi I have just purchased a Humax Freesat receiver to replace a faulty Fortec Star Passion. My initial question is can I set up the Humax to receive multiple satellites the same as I did with the Fortec Star ?. I have had a go briefly and it seems that if I select another antenna system i.e. Motorised and save that it states that all channels will be deleted, or is it just me being thick.
Thanks
Alec

Hi i havnt tried yet, but i thought you had to change the stb mode to non freesat then do a manual scan. Im only using the humax for freesat.

It's not you being thick I only repeating what's been posted previously but I believe you must set up the non-Freesat first and when you switch back to Freesat you'll be OK, but yes it deletes the Freesat to set up the multi-sat.

So if I tune in a few other satellites and go back to Freesat and tune them in does it then remember everything I have tuned in. I got the impression that when you come out of Freesat mode to watch one of the other satellites it deletes the Freesat channels. It's a shame that they let you tune other satellites in but don't explain how to do it.

As nvingo has already said.
No,it only deletes the Freesat channels,if you first scan the Freesat channels first and then go on to scan in other satellites (in non-freesat mode),whether its fixed or motorised,in the initial set up.
Once you've set up your motorised set up,scan in the Freesat channels and then they are both setup, with no deletion of the Freesat channels, when you switch modes from non-freesat to freesat,or vice versa.
