NEW TO THIS....
Just bought one of these off a mate and it was preloaded with i guess the firmware and the keys needed to view channels,i was just wondering how to find out what firmware was on the box and if it was one that auto updates.

as it is a relatively new box there is only one firmware that auto updates, so if yours is unscrambling the channels I guess you have the latest firmware.
to check firmware I think it is the same as the maxv Menu/config/system information
latest firmware is v1.0 darx 29/08/2008

if you are clearing sp1 etc then its the latest sw

hi new to the vox do you need to sort the channel order out your self or do there go into favirts

They go into FAVs automatically ,i.e. sports, movies etc. But dont map channels as per the CC list like SV3, SV4 and Kryptview do.

so there dont map the cc but movies go into movies amd sport into sport and so on do you need to move them about
