so i have ordered the new starview 4 usb. is it possible for someone to assist me with how to initially set it up to include all the channels.

i have a cable feed running through my home. is there anythign else i need to purchase?

if it comes with a usb stick, thats it. you just need to get f/ware on stick. loads of info here. dont forget to switch box off before putting stick in or out. VIP.

funny you say this boomer i have updated 1 or 2 of thease boxes

and the only time i have had a problem was when i put the usb stick in when the box was switched off

hi, martin, only quoting what i've read on this and other sites. done 4 myself, always had boxes switched off , no probs.. but seem to remember some other reason but not too sure..

yes boomer would agree with what you have said m8 i have read the same but like i have said in my post no probs with the box on

i was not having a go m8

i was just saying from my experience that it has been safe to insert the usb with the box on

maybe some people are unlucky
