I've recently got a starview 4 box (The box super usb) and everything was extremly easy to setup. A little advice for anyone with the The box super USB is when the guys say turn EMU on in the Cas System ive found its actually "keycode"you have to turn on.

I am thinking of buying the new starview as well. I have an old first starview which works fine and i am happy with it but i have some questions for you. Is the new starview really worth the upgrade. If so then how and where can i buy one.

not sure mate its the first box ive ever got, I got number 4 as I thought it was best to get the latest version. So far its been excellent! although my 500gig USB drive came up as invalid, even after a format which took about 2 days.. it still said it was invalid! bar that its pritty solid.

We only say that for the S1, 2 and 3. BTW the SV4 was only tested up to a Max of 300 GB for an external drive. Due to power load from USB port.

Someone is offering 100 quid for my starview 1 so I am thinking of ditching that and getting the new 4th version if the difference in the price is not too much. The only thing i am interested in is its recording function.

So where can i buy one and for how much?

I googled it mate. I Wouldnt like to recommend it just incase something went wrong i think i seen a list of approved/recommend suppliers though, use the search function and im sure u'll find some matey

For the SV4? 1.02 is the latest.
