other than the above... i had same issue..tried everything ( i work in I.T so `aint on thicko when comes to comms/cabling e.t.c)
In the end geuss what...it was all fixed by a virgin engineer...yes an engineer.....i have the basic package ( tv) ...called virgin andtold them virgin box.playing up with no signal e.t.c...engineer came...tested my signal into the house via my coax feed/cable into the house...said it was weak....went to the exchange/green box down the road...re patched my cable feed from the box higher up inthe pecking order as you would say...came bk into house, checked signal strength..then got off
I plugged euro vox box back in and works perfectly !!!

You do talk some nonsense wiz mate ,lol
between this & spammin the place with your crazy prices, lol

people do have problems with these boxes but its very few compared to how many are sold + the problems are usually newbies not knowing what their at.. My eurovox been ruuning from 2006 & only needed flashed once, the adapter to flash it cost me £5.00. Hardly unreliable, & for cheap - Why not? isnt that the whole point?

It's not the best approach to slag off everything else in order to generate customers. Instantly took a dislike to this wiz guy and i have only read a couple of his posts lol
