why not look into fixing it youself you all expect to be spoon fed open it up and learn about it understand how it works the developers are sick of people demanding to know how to fix the boxes but the people who own them are not even atempting to have a go a fixing it

Hi ok then which box do you recommend thats relible and requires no updating and is very easy to install. most of the people are new on here and just follow what they read and what people are using in there area's. Most people have seen them working at there friends house so get the same thing as he's was working fine. i bet you have some boxes for sale that are better now don't take this the wrong way i like people who want to plug certain product's so let' here what you got and how about the info on how to upgrade them might help a lot of who are not sure what to get .

I've had my Euro-vox max v since June and never had any problesm with it until a few days ago. Since then I keep getting the message "no signal" and Waiting for update. I've started from scratch about 4 or 5 times now and although I have a few channels I haven't got as many as I had previously (only 59 as opposed to 200+)and most of them are not named (BICS 21 etc instead of Sky Movies..).
Anybody any idea what I need to do? I am a complete novice and probably need the most basic of instructions. I've downloaded some CDF? files but don.'t know what to do with them when I've open them as they make no sense to me. Can anybody help please?

I think you are picking up new transponders only for some strange reason.
