Hi all, I'm here for "academic" reasons...
Hi one and all,
As my username suggests, I'm Mike. I hope that some of you will be able to share with me your understanding of the encryption technologies behind paid-for satellite TV. I have just started a masters in Info Security, and am thinking of doing my dissertation on the protection of digital TV & Film rights, ie, Satellite TV, Cable TV, a film download service like Amazon now has and maybe something like BBC i-player. Possibly more besides. I am not from a technical background. Anyway, I won't say more here, I'll do a post in one of the forums. cheers, Mike |
