hi people i have just bought the above box and installed it correctly with latest firmware etc i have a 160gb hd installed and formatted etc the problem is when i record a program from the epg when i come to play it back the screen is black i shows it has recorded the program but you can only hear the program opposed to view it! any ideas? i have checked the cables etc

also anyone had a problem with renameing the favorites mine just reboots everytime i got to edit the name

please help with the above

Yes me too.

I used the starview channel editor on the PC to edit the file and the favourite names.

Could really do with a new firmware.
It could so easily be a great bit of kit but just falls short.

PLEASE please PLEASE new firmware for the BOX PVR.

you could check the second receiver (2nd input on the back) is connected and doesn't need a signal booster.
