Default What Satellite Receiver ?

I have just installed a motorised satellite and my fitter has told me I can have any technomate receiver i want (not HD) I want to make sure that i can get a receiver that i can update to receive the scrambled channels easily e.g football. What receiver should i go for. He said that i could have one with all the built cards should i go for that if so which model.
Thanks

Get the TM5400CI+ Super this has a card and cam slot and USB for recording on to USB HDD and also to patch it. don't pay anymore than £90 delivered.

For football you will get several channels via the patch that will show footy but you can get a Diablo Light 2.3 cam and Cas 3+ programmer and receive via a file footy on Thor (canal+ channels that show 3pm) and DigitALB on 16 east that show evening and late afternoon games.

But remember this is a hack and there is no guarantee how long the channels will be open for.
