Default My Samsung HD TV doesn’t work!!.............

I unpacked my TV last night, plugged everything in and turned it on, so far, so good, the first screen that greeted me was a ‘plug & play’ screen, I searched for the channels, after that was complete it said ‘NO CHANNELS FOUND’ it then went onto the screen which searches for digital channels, again it went through the process but found no channels.

I tried pressing the ‘source’ and ‘tv/dtv’ buttons but to no avail. One thing I would add is that I am using the portable aerial that I used with my old SD TV not a digital one, could that be the problem? Maybe the current aerial isn’t strong enough to pick digital channels up, though it does pick up BB1, BBC2, ITV, Channel 4 and FIVE (albeit very very hazy!) but no freeview ones.

I cant even find a channel for my PS3!

Please help!

If your terestial channels are not good then you wont get digital mate. You need a decent ariel (a loft mounted one will do) just make sure its giving good signal for normal channels then try your digital. Once you get some digital channels you can get a signal strength meter up on the menu and tweak the ariel till you get the best strength you can.

As for your ps3 make sure the console is set for the right output (scart or hdmi etc) then go through the scource list on the tv till you find it
