Hi I'm following a tut to change the net ID on a 2110 but it says to short the battery and boot into engineers menu. I don't see a battery its not like a 2100. I know you can reset using the arrow buttons. ok button and the pwr button, but the tut says to boot straight into the engineers menu which you can't do using this method. Its a working box I've moved from pure hell to ExCW and I double checked all files I've put on to the atmega card. When I'm in the engineers menu everything appears fine except the Net id which is 09999 and putting the card has no affect.

i managed to do one the other day by resetting using buttons let it reboot, then pull power reboot to eng menu, check net id is 09999,set freq and pin then put atmega card in and reboot

sammy 2110 doesnt have a battery to shortcut. hold power, ok, up and down, hold it for 10 to 15 seconds and let go after that do the atmega net id card to change the netid

do you do the reset with the feed in?
