Unlocking rom11 first time

hi there i have had my unlooper delivered today and i have a samsung 2110 box with card - now i dont know if the card is paired or not but i guess ill find out soon,

im in the middle of reading some tuts on unlooping cards and i just wanted to ask if there is anything specific i need to look out for....?? i dont want to mess up and get a false bk - ....???

Ok i have read the tuts..its confunsing...can someone give me a step by step guide on what to do and what i will need

Your unlooper should come set to go (what unlooper did u get and where from?), once u run the unlooping script dont stop it or u will loose the ird...then once it pops u will find out if it was paired

its a tiny unlooper and its flashed set to go.....

if i loose the ird i can get it from the eng menu from the box cant i.......???

help i need some instructions...never dun this before

use sidewinder script these boxes are worthless without the bk code so make sure u dont mess it up when unloopin it, mikedata script is the safest.

PS: if ur BK starts with 6d its most likely to be false BK.

i got the bk and it did not start with 6d....i programmed the card and i only get fta the rest are black screen...so i guess the card was not paired...

However when i unlooped the card the ird showed up as 00000000 - is there a way to unlock a card and the ird does not get corrupted? that way would know for definite if the card was paired or not....

It only usually comes up as zeros with a dead 6 card ,it corrupts ird if you run script more than once, did you get ird from menu then convert to hex ?
Make sure you havnt made a mistake on card, are dates ok ?

yes i got the nagra serial code from the eng menu and i converted to hex
i ran script only once
Dates are all ok
and i am using the current rom11 image that i use for others and they work...

i think i will just double check everything again......neve know, might just work...

some cards i have run in the mikdata script , the message box says the ird is 00000000 and it always gives a duff ird. so if it ever does this for a 2110 in a ubomb i belive it is pointless going on.

an easier way is to click reset in mrom, if the IRD's all noughts then the bk is most probably fake, thats what ive found anyway. saves ya the bother of unlooping for the boxkey.
