Default PLEASE PLEASE Help I am at a loss!!

Hi all
I have bought a starview 3 super box but cannot get it to work. I have downloaded the firmware 7.09. Now i am not sure if this is my problem but i only have a laptop in my house so the null modem cable dosnt fit. I took the firmware to my pc in work via memory stick along with the cablebox. I switched the cable box on and coonected it to my pc via the null modem cable and loaded on the firmare to my pc. Everything went ok. I pressed on the red arrow and started the download. It went to 100% and complete. I then disconnected the box and took it home, connected it up but i cant view any channels.
Can anyone help???

Hi and welcome to Techwatch
You need to do a scan on your provider settings,
if you have and are getting all the channels (but they are scrambled) then enter Menu/1570 on your remote to enter cas menu and enable EMU, exit and goto Sly sports 1 and it should update
