Help with Eurovox Max V 2008 working fine before now no channels

Ive got a problem with my Black Eurovox Max V 2008, system info;

Ive had this box for several months now and just recently i started getting really poor reception on almost all the channels. I had around 168 which i was very happy with.
I tried to do a fast install again and now im left with 30 channels that don't even work.
When i first got the box it gave me 12 clear channels and read somewhere on the forum to change the STEP on the Full power scan to 6 which worked for me and gave me the 168 channels.
Now im at a lost i have done a reset and several power scans to no avail. I have trawled this site for the last hour and half to look for answers but im at a lost. Hope you can help and send me in the right direction to answers.

The latest firmware is 18/04/08. Check the signal strength. If its around 8% there is software dated 28/04/08 to fix this.

have a similar problem.my friend has a black 2008.tried to watch setanta 1 this evening but no signal. did all relevant scans turn channel listings off and exit etc,but lost satanta1 all together and some others,they are not even listed in favourites or when scanning.would a power scan work without losing any of his other favourites ,,,or would or how do a complete reset do it and what are the consequences

I wish i had not done a rescan and just waited a day or too to see if it improved. Now im left with no channels.

Have you checked the cdf thread. You might find one for your area with setanta frequency.

update your box with the latest firmware 18/04/2008
do a factory default reset and a full powerscan on the correct symbolrate or see if there is a cdf file for your area in the cdf files for eurovox thread.
