Hi, I have a 4010 box, Question is, is there any way of resetting the pin number with (as i don't know it) without taking the case apart and using the old wire trick on the battery?

well if its not available to change it in the eng menu , youll HAVE to open the case and pull the red jumper mate. only way. have you tried all 0000 1234 and 9999

Cheers for that info. I normally short the battery i didn't know you could pull the jumper.

will a 4010 set its netid itself though in your area(it wounldnt for me in Pure). If so then DONT pull red jump unless your willing to go through the hassle of setting it yourself mate(Programmers,funnetidcards ect will be needed)

Yes i normally short the battery then power up in engineers menu then enter new pin no, But this is the first box that i have progged myself so it shouldn't be any different to the ones i used to get from someone else. Should it?

By the way im in Pure

pure should set net id etc mate , pull the power out and put in in holding up and down button for weng menu m8.

They should set auto in pure, if not do a forced update 4321.
