Ambit 255 Haxorware Frequency Not Locking In

Hello,

This is my first modem mod, after succesfully getting everything working earlier this morning i was quite pleased with myself. However i proceeded to plug my modem into my router and my router wasnt talking to it, so i tinkered around a bit and ended up doing a "factory reset" (return to factory defaults) thinking that it would fix my problem, but now Im unable to lock on at all

Any ideas what I can do, Ive read the thing about flashing a dump thats already been synced to it but I don't think this applys as I managed to get it locked on this morning, I have checked all my settings and everything looks fine. Also ive left my max232 cable at work and wont be there until next week so im hoping not to have to wait till then

Im in a pure NTL area so using the frequency 402750000.

Any help is much apprieciated

this might be a bit obvious but are you clicking save on the page when you've set the frequency?

i am yes lol, ive decided to do a full 2mb dump to see if this fixes the issue, borrowing someones max232 cable will let you know tommorow.

ok the problem was restoring it back to factory settings. DO NOT do this on a haxorware modem it doesnt like it

how is thing going? have you been able to make Haxoware work?
I'm just about to try Haxoware, but reading around, there seems a connection problem

Yeah mate, ii now have a fully working haxorware 1.0rc4 ambit 255, I basically just had to reflash it, used a 2mb dump from a friends modem and its now working perfectly locking on with no issues
