i dont know anything about pure because its not round my way. but i am in c+w and just 6-7 miles away is tw. so i often get both boxes and modems from both areas.

generally speaking i update the box straight away on a c+w stream. i've done this with most boxes apart from the DI4010T which is a funny one. sometimes the audio description is stuck on even thou it says its off in the menu.

there are a few threads which i've been quite involved in about boxes for diff areas. search for them.

i think you would be best taking the box back to c+w and updating using a c+w net id. then you can jumper it and do netid fun.

Hi Guys, looking for advice. I am familiar with the Pace 1000s but not the 4000n. Can the 4000 definately work in a TW area or will it have to get pluged in and updated in an ex c&w first? Cheers
