Default UNESCO getting World Heritage TV?

Austrian TV manager Josef Andorfer wants to launch a TV channel dedicated to the UNESCO World Heritage. From summer 2009, the channel will be included in pay-TV packages which RTL Group plans for India and southern Asia, writes Austrian newspaper Der Standard. No further details were revealed.

Andorfer was previously programme planner for Austrian public broadcaster ORF and managing director of German commercial TV channel RTL II. Currently, he works as a consultant for Russian media entrepreneur Dmitry Lesnewsky who acquired German movie and series channel Das Vierte from US-based media company NBC Universal in June. Andorfer is also a shareholder in Austrian commercial TV channel Austria 9.
