Help with cable modem Please

Hi all,

i apologize if i am breakin any law, i desprately need some help.

I recently bought an ambit250 modem from ebay, (flashed i think) i have read thru the haynes guide and done what it says (well to my understandng) but i still cant connect.

i used the DHCP and i got one mac address, then i used the config software with the details i got from the DHCP force after which i switch off the moderm and back on.

Now is there any step then i missed out or somethin i should i done after usin the config? please your help will be very much appreciated.

i have also tried searchin here to see if this prob have been dealt with but i cudnt have any.

You cant scan with dhcp force and use that! If you dont have a friend in a different area, you must use it to trade for one. 2 addresses in the same ubr are no good
