I don't trust IE. I used NetScape in its original incarnation, then switched to Opera. I used that through several versions and still like it best. I'm using Flock now only because Opera 9 runs too slow on my system.

The fastest search engine I've found is K-Meleon. It uses the Firefox 'engine' - don't know if this makes it as secure as FF though. You can get it from the same source as FF.
Doesn't have all the great extensions you can get for FF though. |

FireFox! Soooo much easier tha IE and has the tabs so you dont have to toggle between different pages. The search is far speedier as well, good for browsing. Viva Mozilla!

I've gotten really used to searching in Firefox. There are several extensions that help refine or add features to your searches. The tabs definitely help; you can set it so each link opens in a different tab, then click the option to open all links on the page. I've done that a few times for when I needed to glance at the pages I found through a search to see whether the were helpful or not.
