Starview guide/tutorial

Hi

How come there is no starview guides and tutorial like any other boxes or cable modems/tvs?

I have looked around but couldnt find step by step guides or tutorials, can some1 plz direct to the right direction?

There are plenty of guides/tuts here. Depends on which particular model you are looking at. Let us know and we can point you in the right direction.

Am noob when it come to digi boxes so i thought i do a bit of reading b4 i get one, so i was after something like NOVICE ANGEL GUIDE to read through it and see which one is good aswell as easy to do it.

I can give you a general Starview guide but this is outdated. The latest version is a Starview 4 that is flashed via a USB stick instead of the old null modem route.

There are a lot of STBs Eurovox, Kryptview, Dreambox, etc and the list goes on. It really depends on what you are looking for, ease of use and how much you want to spend. Have a read of a few threads here and the Eurovox/Dbox sections and you will get a fair idea.

When you decide what looks good for you drop back and I will see if I have a good tut for you.
