currently i have a virgin media cable tv package and phone line. i also acquired a chipped modem from a friend.
both work plugged straight into the virgin installed box. this however means i need to change the cables round each time i want to use each thing, (ie i can't use both at once.) i have tried a 2 way splitter, which on it says IN (fairly obvious) and on the other side it has 2 outs (one says SAT and has a red line going to it saying power pass) the other out has a black line and just says TV. either works plugged into the TV side but neither in the SAT side. do i have the correct equipment? thanks in advance colin |
