Default 54 plate combo van

i am trying to find a fault it is when you are driveing and the van just cuts off and the steering gets heavy and sometimes it starts no bother and others it doesent at all is there a senceor on the exaust to the catalistic con

this is a very common fault for the combo 1.7 dti, it is caused by the EDU that controlls the fuel pump, let me know if you have the 1.7 DTI Isuzu engine and I can tell you the location of te EDU
