hi,ive just purchased sony ericsson w580 on orange network as cheaper than on 02 but i have an 02 simplicity sim so need to find out how to unlock it or i will have to send it back any help would be much appreciated.......thanks in advance

theres no free method to unlock that handset... will have to take it to a mobile phone repair shop to be unlocked... hope this helps

Have a look on the internet for "DB2020 Unlock patch". I have unlocked many of these phones with that patch (it doesn't patch CID53 versions I don't think).
