hi all,
Complete newbe here,but great info on this site.Very helpful ppl. Please can anyone help.Im sick of paying out on s"y subscriptions being told of quantum box and card programming which is best for viewing irish channels and s"y.thanks

I'm afraid you've been told wrong. Sky is only available with a subscription. Unless....
The only way to receive Sky this way withput signing up is to card share. A whole other complex subject.

Card share = sharing the keys off an existing subscription card across broadband connections at both ends.
Normally done with linux based receivers. Ive seen it done a few times and from my experience the NDS keys change so regularly theres often picture freeze every few minutes until the cards sort themselves out.
