Where am i going wrong?

ok i hav a 255 ambit unlocked and wrote new bootloader then flashed it succesfully, but was having problems with the config tut so i downloaded the ambit config 0.97beta tool and tryed that still no connection also only the powerand ethernet light stays on after power up is this normal ?

its ok i got it sorted!!!! mac probs. for any1 else having same prob as me if u run the config tool and still no internet connect its not because you hav put the wrong settings applyed, its because the mac your putting in doesnt work so your doin it rite you just hav to keep trying different macs i found after 3 hrs scan with the config tool that manually applying mac's you found yourself ( dhcp sniffer program) worked alot faster also reboot your modem each time you apply a new mac.
