never been plugged into a cable feed

i was reading seamouses thread in sales and wondered if a box has never been plugged into a cable feed with a card in , can you pair any card to the box this way as when you try reading a card that hasnt been inserted no bk or ird are available.

OR

if you insert a pare card into a box will the box put the ird and bk onto the card?

maybe a stupid question but its on my mind.

Long story short, If the box has never been in line and taken a hit, it's never going to work, nomatter what you do to it with any card.

it depends on the box there are other ways to get the bk for a box e.g jtag led sim but some box's are'nt possiable at the mo without a paired card such as v+ and 2110
