Eurovox pvr ex5000

hi all

i was tempted in buying a digivox xl, it seems to auto roll and picks up all the channels you could want however i have recently seen the EUROVOX PVR EX5000 on ebay, i like the idea of having the hard drive but does the box also auto roll and pick up all the channels available?

i've always modded pace and sammy boxes in the past so im not too clued up on these new boxes, which one would you guys reccommend, i've heard of starview, digivox and now eurovox, which one should i go for?

i heard its pretty simple, is all u need the latest firmware, the software to upload files and a serial cable?

thats all you need.i think its a null modem cable,if i remember right

This Eurovox pvr ex5000 seems great but being completely new to this "boxes" (?) business I am wondering a few things:

- what kind of hard drive does it take? IDE, SATA, SCSI?
- With this Eurovox how many channels can I record simultaneously? (it is not hard to came across the need to record two programs which overlap in schedule)
- Do they have to be flashed? I thought they'd come already with software installed.

Probably better to ask in the eurovox section, they use laptop size ide of up to 120 , you need a certain make, it only has one tuner so you can only record one channel, depends who you buy off if its ready flashed.
