Starview 3 - Some channels work, but others dont - help pls!

Hi All,

I have a starview 3 box which works perfectly in my house in North London and when I took it over to my brother-in-laws house in West London it doesnt receive all the channels.

For example none of the freeview channels work (showing signal but as a bad channel) but slysports1 and 3 work but 2 comes up as having no signal


We tried scanning on all the different providers obviously some will not work but where the channels are picked up the channels that work seem to be random.....which makes us think we have the wrong frequencies....is this correct and if so, does anyone have a list of the frequencies for channels in the (West) London area so we can scan these manually?

Seeing as the signal is being received, surely at the bare minimum the freeview channels should work but at the same time if slysports 1 & 3 work, I cant figure out why the other channels do not work.

Please help as it is driving us crazy!!

Did you delete the problem channels before re-scan if you did then try factory settings

bro in law went ahead and bought box. purely cos slysports was working.
so when new out of the box, flashed and scanned - all the channels worked!

its a bit weird in the sense that we receive the signal from the same transponder but all the channel frequencies are different. i take it when u scan over the existing channels it doesnt replace them!
