Not sure about using CAMs on cable boxes but you could just use the MOSC card in the box. What box are you using mate?

Sorry for confusion but I have a Sony tv with built in cable tuner, can watch free to air but was wondering if I could program a nagra cam and use a card in the Cam slot at the back. It will see Diablo cam and Iredeto cam, so thought I might be able to use a Nagra cam.

I did read somewhere, about this.

Someone was using some sort of cam to receive cable channels.

I'll try and find out.

This is quoted by the person who used the cam.

"I jus bought a sony bravia lcd tv from currys and the tv is built in with a cable tuner all you do is get a cam, i gotta cam called predator and a mosc card and program the card and insert at the back of the bravia lcd tv because it has got a common interface slot at back and put the card in the cam and do manual scan with frequency and you get all cable channels"

Hope this helps.

i think the cam has a box key which is changable somehow but i would assume the bk would have to be entered on the card.
